Got questions? Our services are designed to give you more control, higher margins, and direct support—so you can focus on writing while we handle the rest.
General Questions
MyBookSelling is a service platform that provides independent authors with professional tools for book design, formatting, and print-on-demand logistics. We help you turn your manuscript into a finished book and make it available to readers worldwide.
No. MyBookSelling is not a publishing house. We do not acquire rights, select titles, or operate under a traditional publishing model. Instead, we provide services that allow you to remain fully independent.
We do not act as a publisher and we do not run promotional campaigns on behalf of authors. Our focus is on production (cover design, interior formatting, and printing) and distribution logistics. You retain full control of how you promote your work.
Unlike many self-publishing platforms, MyBookSelling does not require exclusivity, does not take ownership of your work, and does not market itself as a “publisher.” We offer flexible, professional services on demand, while you keep all your rights and decide how your book is presented to the world.
Absolutely not. You keep 100% of your copyright and intellectual property. MyBookSelling only provides technical and logistical services—you remain the sole owner of your work.
Yes. You can come to MyBookSelling at any stage of your author journey. Whether your book is new, previously published, or available through another platform, you can still use our services freely.
You are free to choose. Many authors use MyBookSelling for a single service like cover design or interior formatting, while others combine services for a complete solution. There are no mandatory bundles.
You do. MyBookSelling never takes ownership of your content or royalties. All rights and earnings belong entirely to you.
Yes. MyBookSelling is an international service. Our logistics network allows printing and shipping to multiple countries, so authors and readers worldwide can benefit.
No. MyBookSelling services are one-time payments. For example, book formatting is a single fee, not a recurring charge. Once your book is formatted, there are no limits on how many distribution channels you can use—we do not charge extra for keeping your book available.
Print-on-demand Service
When a reader orders your book, a single copy is printed and shipped directly to them. This means there is no need for large stock, upfront printing costs, or storage. Your book is always available, and copies are produced only when purchased.
We use professional-grade paper and industry-standard binding. Authors can choose between different paper types, finishes, and binding options to ensure the book matches their creative vision. The final product is bookstore quality.
No. With print-on-demand, you don’t need to print or store large quantities. You can order a single copy for yourself or let readers order directly, with no minimums required.
Our logistics network delivers to more than 10 countries across three continents, including most of Europe and North America. Shipping times and costs vary by region, but we ensure global reach for both authors and readers.
Typically, printing and shipping take 5–10 business days, depending on the destination. Local orders are often faster, while international deliveries may take longer.
MyBookSelling gives authors full independence: no exclusivity, no loss of rights, and transparent royalties. Unlike closed self-publishing platforms, you control your files and can combine MyBookSelling with other distribution channels freely.
Book Formatting Service
Our cover design service includes a professional front, spine, and back cover tailored to your book’s specifications. We ensure the design is print-ready, visually striking, and aligned with your genre and audience.
Yes. If you already have a design, we can adapt it to meet technical printing standards. You can also supply elements (such as images or logos) for us to incorporate into a custom design.
Absolutely. We deliver covers that fit print specifications and can also prepare digital versions for eBooks or other platforms, ensuring consistency across formats.
We transform your manuscript into a professionally typeset book interior. This includes layout design, typography, page numbering, headers/footers, and visual consistency across all chapters.
You will receive a print-ready PDF for physical books, and optionally, an ePub file for digital distribution. Both formats meet international publishing standards.
Yes. We customize formatting to the specific needs of your genre, whether it’s prose-heavy fiction, poetry with line breaks, academic work with footnotes, or illustrated content such as comics.
Benefits
Once your book is set up, it becomes available for print-on-demand orders in multiple countries. When a reader orders, the nearest printing hub produces and ships the book, reducing costs and delivery times.
With MyBookSelling, you not only access professional print-on-demand services but also receive personalized guidance throughout the process—something Amazon does not provide. In addition, MyBookSelling allows authors to keep higher margins: while Amazon usually offers 60% royalties and deducts printing costs from that amount (leaving around 40%), with MyBookSelling your profit is calculated more transparently and often results in significantly higher earnings per copy.
Yes. Authors have access to a dashboard where sales and royalties are updated regularly, so you always know how your book is performing.
Royalties are paid directly to your account through secure payment methods (such as bank transfer or PayPal, depending on your region).
Your profit is the difference between the printing cost and the retail price you set. This ensures you know exactly how much you earn per sale. MyBookSelling does not take a percentage of your royalties.
Payments, Timelines & Shipping
We accept major credit/debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers. Payment options may vary depending on your country.
No mandatory fixed fees apply. You only pay for the services you choose (cover design, formatting, printing). There are no hidden charges or exclusivity requirements.
Printing costs depend on factors such as page count, paper type, trim size, and binding. We provide a clear price estimate before printing so you know your exact unit cost.
Royalties are calculated as: Retail price – Printing cost = Author profit. You decide the retail price, giving you full control over your earnings.
Authors must request the payout of their royalties. Once requested, payments are processed regularly, usually within 30 days. The amount you receive will depend on the payout method you select: commissions or transfer fees may be deducted by the provider. To avoid such deductions, we recommend using Wise. If you have a Wise account, you will receive your royalties in full, with no commission deducted.
Once your files are approved and ready, your book can be available for print-on-demand within 24–72 hours.
On average, books are printed and shipped within 5–10 business days. Delivery times vary by destination, but we always aim for fast and reliable fulfillment.
ISBN and BK-SKU
No. You can print and sell your book with or without an ISBN. However, if you plan to sell it through bookstores or online retailers, an ISBN is strongly recommended.
No. MyBookSelling does not provide ISBNs, as we are not a publishing house and we do not handle ISBN registration with official institutions in any country. However, within the MyBookSelling on-demand catalog and distribution network, we generate a unique SKU code for every book, along with a custom barcode. This is included as part of our book formatting service.
Every book in the MyBookSelling network receives a unique SKU code and a custom barcode. While this does not replace an ISBN, it ensures your book can be tracked and managed within our print-on-demand catalog. The barcode can also be scanned in physical bookstores or points of sale where you have a direct agreement, making it easier to process and sell copies outside the online environment.
Yes. If you arrange with a bookstore to carry your title, MyBookSelling can handle the printing and ship the copies directly to the bookstore you specify. This way, you don’t need to manage stock or shipping yourself—we take care of it for you.
Unlike Amazon, MyBookSelling responds directly to bookstores on behalf of the author and coordinates shipments whenever the author decides to send copies. This direct communication makes the process smoother and more personal. Many bookstores prefer collaborating with MyBookSelling because they can easily reach us, which simplifies logistics and builds stronger relationships with authors.
